Cynthia Johnson-Bianchetta is a Dancer, Artist, and Fine Art Photographer. She has spent her life in the arts since leaving her modeling career in Chicago. While living in Santa Fe, New Mexico she was Photographic Assistant to Paul Caponigro, she then moved to San Diego, California where she was Co-Founder and Assistant Director of the Museum of Photographic Arts. She was later offered the position of Director of The Weston Gallery in Carmel and she moved to Big Sur, California where she now owns a home with her Photographer husband, Daniel. Here they have their studios and own the Gallery Guesthouse B&B. Cynthia currently teaches Photography Workshops for The Taos Institute of Arts, The Esalen Institute and Women's Creativity Retreats. She is on the Board of Trustees of The Center for Photographic Art in Carmel. She spends her time between Big Sur and Carmel where she has a second studio, and appreciates being able to follow her creativity and to do what she loves: traveling & photographing! | ![]() |
